School Fees

State schools do not charge instruction, facilities and administration costs, however, some fees are essential to support the delivery of education. These fees include:

  • Subject fees
  • Student Resource Scheme
  • Extra-curricular activities (i.e. excursions)
  • Other levies and fees

The Winton State School Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) reviews and approves these fees each year.

Invoice and debtor statements

Student invoices (e.g. school resource scheme fees, subject fees, excursion fees) are emailed as they arise. Dunning letters (automated reminder notices) may be issued at least once per term for overdue invoices.

Refunds

If a parent wishes to apply for a refund (i.e. due to their child's non-participation in an excursion) they may do so by completing a Parent Request for Refund Form, available on the school website or from administration.

Payment options

Please note that our school is cashless.

BPOINT

BPOINT is now the preferred payment method
for Queensland State Schools.
There are two ways to may a BPOINT payment:
  1. Electronically: on the bottom of each invoice the BPOINT symbol will be displayed with a website link for you to visit to process your online payment. Simply visit the link, enter your CRN (customer reference number) listed on the invoice, invoice number, student name, and exact amount you're paying.
  2. Phone: call 1300 631 073 and follow the prompts
Please do not pay more than one invoice at once. BPOINT will issue you a payment confirmation that you can keep for your records. Payment will process overnight and will appear in the schools bank account within 24 hours

EFTPOS

Paying with card at administration.

Payment plans

If you are experiencing financial difficulties, please contact our Business Manager (ph. 4657 2333) early in the year to set up a payment plan. A payment plan allows you to pay fees as per the negotiated payment plan (e.g. in instalments). By arranging a payment plan early in the year, you can ensure your child will be allowed to attend extra-curricular and recreational activities, as any outstanding debts prohibit students from attending these events.
