Rock Pop Mime
Every
year, our students compete in the Apex Rock Pop Mime competition in Mount Isa. Our
school forms two groups, a primary and a secondary, to combine costumes, mime,
dance and art to create a 6 minute performance.
Creative Generation
Creative Generation involves students from state schools all over Queensland. In 2016, Winton State School students had the opportunity to participate. Here our students dance live in four shows which are broadcasted on television later in the year.
Spectacular
Winton State School organises an annual concert which is hugely popular from prep to year 12 and provides the opportunity to showcase a wide range of performing arts talents. This end of year concert also engages all classes in a singing and dancing extravaganzas. From here students gain both performance and stage experience in front audience of their peers and community.
